QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021 were officially released on March 4, and THU School of Law ranked 27th in the world and 1st among the law disciplines of universities in Chinese mainland. THU School of Law has been ranked among the top 50 in the world for 11 consecutive years since it entered the top 50 in 2011. In the recent three years, the school ranked 28th, 27th and 27th respectively, and stayed within the top 30 in the world for three consecutive years. The stable international ranking fully reflects the international influence of THU School of Law.
In 2020, THU School of Law sustained the efforts to serve the needs of the country, strengthened foreign-related rule of law education, strove to train top-notch talents for foreign-related rule of law, and constantly improved the international education of the school, providing opportunities of international exchange for both faculty members and students. The 3rd Tsinghua University World Forum on Rule of Law, the 3rd International Forum on Computational Law, the Legal Seminar on the 25th Anniversary of the World Trade Organization, the International Young Scholars Forum, the 3rd Tsinghua-Berkeley Annual Conference and other large-scale international academic conferences and activities were successfully held through online live broadcasts. International cooperation programs were actively expanded, high-end platforms were set up, ties with law schools of world-famous universities were constantly strengthened, dialogues and exchanges with domestic law schools and law schools of other countries in the field of rule of law were promoted, which further enhanced the international impact and competitiveness of the school.
